NRN got this honor for his pioneering work for changing the face of Indian IT industry thru outsourcing.
He is the man behind the outsourcing revolution which has changed the lives of millions of Indians and has put the country in the Global arena.
IMHO, he should be nominated for "Bharath Ratna".
